Teaching & Support Staff Vacanciesat The Wilnecote School
Thank you for your interest in The Wilnecote School. I very much hope that you will gather as much information as possible about our school, explore our website and perhaps read our inspection reports. The Wilnecote School is rated good by Ofsted and sits in the historic town of Tamworth. We are all incredibly proud of our stunning surroundings and historical setting in Staffordshire. The school is within easy reach of good road links and is within one mile of Junction 10 M42 and a good public transport system with a regular bus service from the town centre and within walking distance of the local Wilnecote train station.
However, what I believe makes this school a special place to work in is its community and its students. I am constantly struck by our pupils’ spark and zest for life. They are incredibly proud to be part of The Wilnecote School and their energy not only drives what we do but is also highly infectious. The breadth and depth of opportunity available to the students is impressive and, over the time that they are with us, it is a joy to watch their confidence grow as they fully embrace the many experiences the school has to offer. Equally important, our pupils are kind, thoughtful and compassionate young people who embrace our schools’ ethos and who are committed to their own personal growth.
What else can you expect if you were to join The Wilnecote School? Well, we absolutely value our staff. Good teachers and support staff are ever more difficult to recruit, and we firmly believe in giving all our colleagues opportunities to develop their careers within the school. The Wilnecote School has a strong family ethos and you would be made to feel welcome very quickly. Our school is also part of a wider, extended family of schools run by the Community Academies Trust who are a trust that really believes in the nurturing of talent from within.
Education at The Wilnecote School never stands still, and you would be joining the school at an exciting time and we want all the team to get involved in helping to shape and deliver our vision going forward. In a highly competitive market, The Wilnecote School is thriving, and this academic year we are oversubscribed.
I look forward to receiving your application as you embark on the next chapter of your career journey.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Foskett
