The Wilnecote school were lucky enough to be chosen for a fresh delivery of rope grown Mussels. The mussels were donated by Off Shore Shellfish and this was made possible by the Fish heroes programme for the Food Teachers centre group.

Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the lunchtime session where they prepared two delicious dishes of Mussels Mariniere and Mussels with tomato and garlic, served with fresh crusty bread.

Although some pupils were a little hesitant at first, it wasn’t long before everything was devoured.
