The Wilnecote School’s Year 8 football team has made a sensational start to their English Schools National Cup campaign, securing a convincing 9-0 victory in the first round.

The team started the match tentatively, but a significant turning point came after the 20-minute mark. The boys began to gel and play as a cohesive unit, which opened the door for a flurry of goals.
